Van Allen Hospital was established in 1913 by a group of Christian missionaries to be a place where people could receive quality medical attention in the picturesque setting of Kodaikanal, Tamilnadu, India. Van Allen has now grown into a 30 bedded hospital, offering emergency and specialist services to the inhabitants of this beautiful town, those that live in the villages around it and the 4 million tourists who visit each year.
