Dr. Baamini Narasimman

Dr. Baamini Narasimman serves as a Medical Officer at Van Allen Hospital, Kodaikanal, with extensive experience in primary healthcare, emergency medicine, women’s health, mental health support, and community-based medical care.

After completing her MBBS from Shri Ramachandra Medical College Hospital, Chennai, Dr. Baamini has worked across mission hospitals and community healthcare centres in Tamil Nadu and Odisha, gaining valuable experience in both clinical practice and healthcare outreach. Her professional journey reflects a strong commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care, particularly in underserved and rural communities.

At Van Allen Hospital, she is actively involved in outpatient care, emergency services, women’s healthcare, and mental health follow-up care while also serving in an administrative leadership role as Nursing Department In-Charge. She has further strengthened her expertise through a Postgraduate Diploma in Family Medicine (PGDFM) and a Postgraduate Diploma in Mental Health (PGDMH) from Christian Medical College (CMC), Vellore, and continues to pursue advanced studies in Psychology.
